Question on Intake

Hi guys, wasn't sure where to put this but just wanted to know what you guys thought about this intake. I picked up a few items for my L28ET swap into my 78 280Z and the 240sx intake seems nice along with the spacer but there is a small gap where the previous owner got a lil too happy when matching.

Should I try and fix it by welding the aluminum spacer to the intake and fill the hole that way, or someone suggested to me JBweld. I would be sad to have to get another non-egr intake but wouldn't be the first dumb thing I bought. (Won't be the last either, Haha )

Thanks for any info. (Oh and the 2nd picture is just things placed together and lightly hand tightened to show the space where the is an opening at the rise of the intake)

Well that sucks. There used to be several CNC machinist guys making those spacers for the Z forums: the square one with no air regulator port, and one that does have the port. I had a machinist neighbor fab one up for me... I'd say that's the easiest / proper solution for you.

Cool thanks, will ask and search around and see what I can find. I have a few more oddball questions about my swap, but will do that after some more searching hehe.
