anywhoo,
i picked up this muffler off of one of AMS's shop evo's since they are now running side exiting exhaust for the best possible HP and so only a few hundred miles of use i got a super freakin clean muffler (evo axle back actually 3") for 50 bucks. a good friggin deal. its made by vibrant btw some japanese company i believe. i then went to my exhaust shop paid them a mere 150 bucks, and shabam! my new exhaust.... i got a flange welded on so i can break it down, got the muffler clamped so i can changed it whenever i want, and i might just drop the muffler at the track since its sooo much quieter but a smooth sound very smooth. i noticed no real difference in performance though but its soo oquiet now inside the car. its 3" all the way back, and i like it yet dont know if i like the canister muffler look on the S30 only because there isnt enough meat in the back of these cars to hide it THAT well, but its nice. very good job to. if i ever get my hands on a video camera ill get a sound clip for all's yays and a moving clip and what not. i may also go back to that shop to get them to bend me up some IC piping. heres the pictures and enjoy ****'s

Make sure your IC pipes are mandrel bent.

but it doesnt matter, i had the muffler clamped on so i can interchange it with w/e i want, i need a moffler at the end of the car cause i hate inline mufflers they sound like crap imho and the only 3 inch inlet muffler i can find are fart cans, i really want the muffler off my friends WRX its a buscher racing one, it 3 inch in 4 inch out but isnt fart can, its very different and sounds mean still... im almost jealous. and the pictures i took expose the muffler alot because they are all down low standing all you really see is the tip, its not bad, almost.... ALMOST growing on me, but i can argue with the sound.
