Best Exhaust?
Just purchased a 90TT, but the stock mufflers are so badly rusted that they don't have a bottom. I figured I'd pop for a SS system, but something really quiet...The downstairs tennant's room is 3' away from where I park, and idling it for 3 mins at 2am every morning when I come home is probably pissing her off. I've heard the Greddy is quiet. can anyone help? I'm looking to pay 7-900$ and shipping is going to kill me cause I'm in Hawaii. Oh well.

I would recommend the JWT Genie exhaust. Although I've never been able to hear it in person, A ton of people say it's very quiet. You could also go with Stillen, but IMHO the JWT looks a lot better. Do a few searchs over at TwinTurbo.net for the JWT exhaust, a lot of good reviews of it there. Good Luck.

Go to multimedia, and check out all the 2+2 movies. He has the Greddy SP on that 2+2 but do remember the 2+2 is a NA so it will be just a tiny bit quieter on your car since the turbo's mask the sound a bit.
Also the best price I have found on the net for the SP seems to be www.mvpmotorsports.com
Good luck!

watch out with that greddy crap! i ordered a greddy for my 2+2 and got a box with trust printed on the side. i opened it and there was nothing anywhere in, on, or around the box to indicate that anyone that had anything to do with greddy had touched it. i sent it back and paid the extra bucks for the stillen. but now the greddy schmucks and the distributor are trying to make me pay for it anyway. they say that trust is the parent company of greddy. that's fine, but i paid alot for the greddy name and got a different name brand. like paying $90 for a snap on ratchet and getting a $20 kobalt. sure they were forged at the same place, but i paid the extra bucks for snap on. screw greddy. i'll never buy another piece of crap from them again.

Try here. They have sound files attached to the exhausts they sell. It might be of some help to you.

i realized that later after confirming with other people. the thing that pissed me off was that it did not say greddy anywhere. honestly, i thought someone was trying to screw me. if the distibutor would have at least explained ahead of time, i would have expected the difference and would not have been as surprised. as far as the stillen, i think it looks better and sounds great.
