Looking for a locking gas cap

I want to buy a locking gas cap for my car but I can't seem to find one.

This cap says it fits the 280z.. so wouldn't it work with a 260z too? Or is the filler pipe different. If anyone knows, or knows where I can find one, please let me know.

if i remember it correctly a zx locking gas cap will work, the s30 gas cap is pretty generic.

Not sure why it wouldn't work. I was wanting to get one too. Room mate had his gas stolen. Would have been my car if it were there at the time. Just a straight shot to our gas with that filler. Gas prices are going up, and this may become that much more common.

I'm afraid of my gas getting stolen too thats why I want the locking. With prices going to $1.20+ a liter this summer an old car like mine would be a good target.

Do you know for sure if a ZX cap will fit? The only caps I can find are on ebay. Canada doesn't have many S30/S130's and parts are hard to come by / special order everything.

I'm pretty sure the S130 cap WON'T fit an S30. The S30 filler neck (at least the 240Z) is a lot bigger than the 280zx.

If MSA's years are right, looks like 70-76 caps are the same... 77-78 are diff than 70-76.

Good to know. Only looking at them in junk yards up close to see what I could rob, I did not pay enough attention to gas caps.
