Is it just me or ????

I am new here but have made several posts. Most of which have replies by the same two or three people or none at all. I see lots of views but hardly any replies. I'm thinking of finding a new forum with a little more help. Any suggestions or will I get booted for bringing this up?

A quick review of your posts would indicate you've asked quite a few basic / generic questions that can easily be found by looking in the FSM or a Google search. We're here to help, but answering basic questions over and over and over, gets old. Also, most forums have low traffic these days as members migrate to Facebook groups ("why go to two places when you can go to one" mentality). The forums are great places to search for lots of info, but don't expect a drove of people to answer your questions with lightning speed.

Ken,

I participate in another forum as well as this one. I started here and yes, it's kind of a quiet forum but I've found the folks here are quite mature in their replies. Not sayin' everyone's old but that you don't get trash talking and one-ups-man-ship. I choose this one as my starting point and if I don't get a timely response, I believe it is because nobody feels they have something to offer, i.e. better to say nothing if it doesn't help.

I'll head over to the "other" forum if there's no help here. Over there I run a greater risk of getting crap answers or just crap without an answer. Not saying the other forum is all jerks, there are some real gem participants there as well. You'll figure out who is who pretty quickly.

Thanks, I did join another forum/group based within Facebook. Lots of action there. Some rift-raft but lots of Z-lovers with good help.

Zdriver has always been "laid back" as a forum. I don't remember ever it being as "serious" as other forums. Some you will get your things deleted and packed up if you post without searching. I have ventured over to other forums from time to time, but this is home. Activity seems to come in waves. It used to be really active back in early 2000's. I made a shitty face book account just to check out other organizations. Also the views on posts are affected by google search spiders etc I do believe.
