just swapped a motor complete came with intake trans everything the guy swapped a 2jz on his but now that i installed it injectors arent getting power and the afm isnt sending the signal to the fuel pump so no fuel and no power to injectors any ideas on where to start and before the swap i had power on both and so far ive checked all the wires are connected and they all seem to check out

What year is the new motor?
What year is your car?
Did you keep your fuel injection harness or use the one for the new motor?

same year and my harness its a 77 datsun 280z

If there is no power, I suggest re-checking the 12v+ power connection (fusible links).

ok figured it out have power to injectors and pump turns on!!!! however i dropped the tank and it was a rusty mess so i was thinking to just drop a line to a gas can but its not coming up? is there something in the fuel tank that allows it to get to the pump or is it supposed to pick it up from gas can? and the pump is new and it sounds like its working?im on the process of cleaning tank by the way
