fuel injection problem

fuel injection problem

i just got a 1977 280Z and when i try to start it, it floods. what do you think could be the problem? any help is appreciated. thanks

does it flood if after you get it running and shut it off again? it might just be injectors that are leaking a little bit and bleeding down, causing the engine to be already flooded when you try to start it.
