When i bought my car the exhaust was in peices, most of it was flex pipe. Now I'm looking to build it from scratch. My buddy has an exhaust shop was pipe and a bender. I'm hoping someone on here will know the angles and lengths of the pipe. Maybe even a diagram? Any advice and knowledge will be appreciated. I have a 260z with auto trans btw.

If your buddy has an exhaust shop, he should be able to fab you an exhaust w/o the stock specs...

 

I'm so glad you could figure that out! But honestly, No ****. but if I can get the angles down it's cheaper for me to buy it one pipe at a time telling him the bends than it is for him to do all the guess work at once.

 

lulz... it took my exhaust guy 1.5hrs to build & install a complete exhaust from downpipe to tailpipe on my 280ZXT... and he'd never worked on a Datsun before.

Unless your friend is an uber-n00b to welding and exhaust, it's a piece of cake.

Here's a pic of my 280ZT exhaust that I fab'd myself (notice the lack of complicated bends?).

 

No he is not a nub. But it's CHEAPER for me to weld it myself, thus needing the angles and lengths.

 

And i need hime to make a downpipe
