I'm sure that was in relation to a Turbo 2 seater

Indeed...there was once apon a time a guy who posted a link with all the power stats for all models of the Z... I've been searching for it, but haven't had any luck... maybe Entropy, or AZ-ZBUM can help you... I can tell you this though, a 2+2 NA isn't very fast at all... I'd just use it as a driver, not a tuner... but that's just me, and every "Z-Guy" has his own dream.

it's at least kinda quick. I've won a **** load of races in it. Plus I always say that there's a difference between a tuner and a sportscar.

2 seater or 2+2 is just a matter of taste, and maybe function. But you can't deny the fact that the turbo cars are just superior when it comes to power and speed.

lol... of course, but the fact still is that its the same engine, just has a turbo on it. ps, I am pretty sure a supercharger, would rock your turbos world.

A turbo relies on exhaust pressure where a supercharger is belt driven, so you have the power all thru the rpms.

but not as much. superchargers dont run as much boost as turbos. both are good and serve their purpose, just in different ways.

hmm, is there a way to run both? Use the super charger for the initial jump then open the turbo?

you know what that means.... a lot of hurt wallets, and necks!! The only thing that is left behind is a permanent smile when you look at that beast of a engine

btw: as far as I've seen, no magazine ever did any test reports on the US 2+2 NAs.

... I guess pete did not like his 300zx that much. Is the american spec 2+2 na Z that bad that they did not even do a dyno on it?

It makes the same amount of power as the 2seater. The engines are the same. But the added weight probably takes a small amount from performance. Probably not enough to REALLY feel but could be seen in the numbers.

I liked my 300zx a lot but I need one in better condition. When I finish with my 280zx I'm going to buy a 1986 and swap in a VG30DETT. That'll be in about 6 years though. My old 300zx f-in drained my pocket big time and there were too many things wrong with it. Parting is such sweet sorrow. My 280zx is in a **** load better condition.

I kno the feeling, I loved this Z..(pictured in my sig) it was so fun to drive, because if I crashed it no big deal, because I picked it up for 500 us. But the new Z, I picked up for a lil over 1000 us, I tend to baby it, kinda takes the fun away.

Welcome to ZDriver... but you're in the wrong section for Z32 (2nd gen 300zx) info... this is the Z31 (1st gen 300zx) section.

Oh boy... don't let Bleach see that. That site has some inaccuracies.
