hi, i was wondering if you guys knew of an exhaust system that does not make to much noise, i have a 72 240 with a l28, its a high flow exhaust on it, its so loud, i mean loud! when i get on a the freeway sounds like im on a motorcycle, and when i let go of the gas, its makes a loud really loud BANG! like someone shooting a gun. not constantly but it does, so any info would be appreciated for this new owner of a Z. thanks

If you are getting a bang when you let off the gas you need to check your timing. If you want to queit your exhaust check into a mini turbo muffler. I have one on my 78 with a 21/2 straight exhaust ( no Cat). It sounds good but not to loud.
