do you think i should do this or that
Okay for summer its going to be bored as well bored and i'm going to have some extra dough so do you think i should either:
1. buy a engine (just the engine) and learn about it and rebuild it
2. buy a datsun and restore it (it'll probably take more than 3 months)
p.s. i said something like that a while ago but now i'm pretty serious about it i was thinking about going with the engine because i could learn about it and when it comes to actually restoring a car i will know what to do with the engine. Well tell me your opinion.

Uh... No offence, but your prolly better off doing it the other way around. Buying the body, restoring it, then getting a motor. Since having a motor sit for 3months after a rebuild isn't good (unless you over oil an seal it up to ensure no moisture gets into it.).

None taken, but how much would a body cost me and to restore it? (inside and out)
-that was actually a good idea cause i can let it sit and its not like it would rust in Cali. We haven't had rain in almost a year!!!

Stripped shells vary on body condition but I've seen them 200-800. Can't tell much more because I've never gone to look at one, but that's from what I've seen in the newpaper and in Autotrader.
