deal or no deal?
ok, so the car I've been looking at, wasn't in great shape so I'm trying to find a better condition s30 before I buy one. I've found this:
Hi I have a 1974 Datsun 260Z with a clean title. It has been sitting in my garage since May when I planned to do a complete restore on the car. The body is very straight and 99% rust free. It is currently not running, but was driven into the garage. It now needs a wiring harness from the dashboard to the headlights, and it also needs interior. It comes with the original L26 with a dual weber carb setup. Very good project but I just don't have the time to work on it. I need the garage, take this car off my hands. First person with a reasonable cash offer gets it. Needs to be towed.
His price listed was $600, I would like to know what you guys think because I've never owned an s30 before.
Thanks to anyone who helps.

is it a early or late 260? i have a early 260. the difference that you can notice is the bumper sizes. small= early / big like the 280 = late. i call the 260 a red headed bastard child. its the mix of the z's. if its in good shape for a fix me upper then do it. no reason why u cant throw a l28 in it and have fun.
