Man I just put in my deck now none of the gauges work for the batter and clock. I think I shorted something but what??? they working fine two min. ago

Check the fuses in your fusebox.

Also make sure all the connectors for the heater controls etc are plugged in... I had a memorable mishap with that as my passenger window wouldn't come back up (power, gotta love it) and had to drive in sub zero weather with no blower motor and my window stuck down. My advice, never get caught like that =)

but yeah, check the connectors too.

yeah I finally got the fuses checked and it seems that the gauges have been re wired by the previous owner and was set a head lamp fuse. Humm.... makes me wonder why he did that
