Brake bias adjuster?
I was looking under my bonnet today, and where the two resivoirs (thats one way not to spell it) for front and rear are, I have two *****- one above where it has an 'F' cast in it (front) and the other above where an "R" is cast (rear). I was wondering whether these ***** adjust the bias, and if so, would adjusting these fix the problem of too much braking in the rear with the 280zx discs? I hope this post made sense, probably didn't.

Re: Brake bias adjuster?
your question makes perfect sense im just reading my Haynes manual and looking at the same thing but it doesnt say that you can adjust the difference in breaking between rear and front brakes with that cylinder

Re: Brake bias adjuster?
the bias is not adjustable. If you want to see just take it apart. Wilwood makes an adjustable unit. Motorsport Auto sells one to. I changed to four wheel disc but kept the stock bias unit. I guess it would be better to have it adjustable for more control though.

Re: Brake bias adjuster?
the unit is self adjusting and the screws are at the end are for unscrewing to overhaul unit not adjusting.
I'm sure you introduce a new adjustment unit in the line to alter rear effectiveness compared to the front (racing etc)
Some guys put them in the cab near gearstick area.
