just wondering if anyone in the board put one on there 240-280. my friend found me one at a local pick and pull and was wondering how installation was. ive read a lot of articles of making a 1'' spacer with 60mm hole, i think i can do that myself or get a friend do it. but i dont know how to hook up the tps switch to work with the stock turbo ecu, what wires go to what? i never played with fuel injection before, this is my first experience so please forgive my lack of knowledge. ive been on SU carbs for 5 years and now i want to try efi turbo. do i use the same wires off the stock tps with the 240sx one? i dont know..thanks for any information.

Datto I have one hooked up. I made a 1/8" spacer and mounted the TB upside down. A custom cable linkage is required that way, maybe with the 1" spacer you could use most of the old linkage, I'm not sure.

The TPS I had on mine had 2 connections. 1 is a 3 prong attacked to the plastic case, you'd want to use this one with the stock ECU. Then there is another connection at the end of 3 wires (black, red, white) which is the potentiometer type connection, and you'd use that one if you were running most aftermarket systems. (SDS, etc.)

If you look at my engine page you can see the HUGE difference in size between the stock one, and the 240sx one. (last pictures on the engine page)

when i have anymore problems ill keep you guys in mind...much help..i appriciate it! my first fuel injected car. OH yeah i forgot, do i need a knock sensor or is that optional. im using my N/A block with nismo dished pistons and was titanium sleeved but didnt come with a stock knock sensor. im gonna run stock turbo. thanks again.
