Made an offer on this car, to get the original motor and trans too, he lives real close. So hopefully I will be the proud papa of an s30 again, had a 77 before. Like I need another car, hehe, well you never know.

Woot

He accepted my offer, I am going to go over tomorrow and take care of business, so happy to have an s30, I had a 77 280 before, my 1st Z, it had some rust issues, but this car has had a lot of work done and he is excited a z guy is buying it, so everyone is happy !!

PS my bad reading comprehension, I misread that he had the old motor and trans, so its just a shell, but a perfect candidate for a L28ET swap, or possibly drop my VG30e in it and sell / part out my z31's

Pictures

Ill take some more detailed pictures tomorrow.
I don't know if everyone has heard of these guys Tecno Toy Tuning, but they have an amazing array of bolt on parts for the S30, I was almost drooling over all the goodies. Sadly for the 280zx not so much. If I hit the lotto, I will defiantly load my car up with this trick kit.

Beef

Ya those bad boys don't flex, and really I think the prices are really reasonable. Looks really nice to boot.

Update

I went to look at the car.

The Good,
Pretty much rust free, a little surface rust, but no cancer.
Interior is in fairly good condition, drivers seat is perfect, passenger seat has a tear. Dash is typical cracked.
Glass is all good.

The bad
The wiring harness had major damage from a bad stereo install on the lighter circuit. But he did find a replacement, so I need to install the newer harness.
Drivers door does not close nicely, slightly out of alignment, no visible body damage.
All the rubber needs replacing, thank goodness places like MotorSport have complete kits now, Motorsport! Exclusive 27-Piece Weatherstrip Kit, 70-78 240Z-260Z-280Z Coupe - The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts ,and seems to be a reasonable price too.

Since the harness is out, the dash is completely empty, so it will need to be all put back together. One good thing about it, since it is all out, I will go through the harness and make sure it is solid and defect free, replace any connectors I need to and make it pretty.

I wont get the car for at least a month, to much going on atm.
