ummm.... as a whole the engine alone is like 200 i think if in good condition. tranny... maybe aboot a huundo. if you can sell it as a whole rods are good for the strokers yup, and find out what type SU carbs... such as if tehy are round top or flat top and how many screws hold on the tops of them the slide and oil housing looks like a bell.. technical term is slipping my mind. lol. might be able to sell oil pressure send thermo housing and thermostat basic stuff... distributor... idk not much to actually part from the motor other than carbs manifolds and rods....

Sweet. That's how I got my 9mm rods. Bought the engine for a whopping $25 and sold the E31 head for $100

Argueably the '73 240 was the best. It had th 4 screw, bell top su carbs, the E88 head and was the only one that had the 9mm rods. I think the 72 had 4 screw carbs also. The earlier E31 head was the best for racing. The 260 had the flat top carbs which are worthless. It had the 280 crank which will fit all L6 engines. It had a smog version of the E88 head with smaller quench area that makes the head run hotter(nfg). It does have the larger intake manifold.
