17X7 Wheel Offset
I'm looking at a set of tenzo-r 17X7 rims with a +42mm offset. Anyone out there with pictures of a Z with this offset with billet adapters? I'm trying to find out whether I will encounter rubbing with a stock suspension set up. Thanks!

Re: 17X7 Wheel Offset
I wonder if thats true in all cases. The rims I'm ordering are +42mm. The adapters will probably be larger based on the offset. Modern Motorsport stock adapters from +36mm to +40. Since I'm running +42mm rims, I'm curious on whether I need longer studs.

Re: 17X7 Wheel Offset
Pierre Z mounted my wheels and when I check they had only 2 to 3 treads holding my rims on. You might not need to do that but you should ck it out. I will never take my car back to those &*^%$#! lol

Re: 17X7 Wheel Offset
I actually have 18 x 7.5 without coil overs. My offset is 45mm so I got a 45mm spacer made. I don't have any rubbing problems and have at least 1.5" clearance of the inner wheel to the strut housing.
Also I'm using the same bolt pattern as the Z. Accords and preludes has the same size 4 X 4.5 (4x114?) a little bigger then 4 X 100. I didn't have to use longer studs.
Rick your car does look sweet, you got my vote =)

Re: 17X7 Wheel Offset
Thanks guys! For your viewing pleasure, a picture of my Z is on TTRSRACING.COM. Click on Datsun Z Car Special and scroll down to the blue 240Z with revolution rims. The picture is a little blur but I will repost new photos once I get my Tenzos. Zyah!
