tranny help plz
well ok this is how it is
i put the clutch down it slides into 1-5 nice and catches the gears nice and everything
when i try for reverse it makes a sound (grinding) like the clutch isnt down all the way (but it is) then it goes into reverse and its good - jus grinds when i try and pop it into reverse
any toughts appriciated

well i'm pretty sure its becuase reverse doesn't have syncro's or something...
so what i do to make it not crunch.. is either put it in 1st then to reverse, when ur at a total stop,...
or wait till u get to a total stop and slowly put it into reverse,
or put into neutral, clutch out, clutch in, put in reverse, i find this is the best...
i know its a b*tch but u don't want to stuff up reverse gear

well it seems my master cylinder and slave cylinder are leaking and total cost is 80 dollars (canadian) but to replace them they are taking 200 for "labour" MY ***!!!
thats 300 bux total i know it aint much but for a high school kid who works part time its alot parts are only 80 bux thats nuttin they rip me of on labour i was wondering can i replace them (my dad knows quite alot bout cars)
are they hard to replace ?????
also if i want to add oil to the cylinders is it connected with the place that i pur my tranny oil or is there a seperate opening for it??
