lol, the KA is a bad *** motor if you build it right. but teh SR is already setup for a turbo. lets just say.... well lets not say anything, theres a shop here in IL near me very popular specially with DSM's called AMS (auto moto sport, very similare to MSA motor sport auto, lol) and this guy Ivan at the shop built this little KA-T and yeah... the vid says it all:

Dyno 43 psi FTW: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/3...9f007cc73f.htm

and a track run: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/2...5d0005dd53.htm

and incase you were wondering... it is "street legal" he drives it on the streets

that 240 is sick!

oh, you're in Canada. Big difference.
An L28et drops in. The RB20det requires minimal mods.
L28et is a $500 engine around here. RB20DET for $1100 plus $500 shipping is cheap but not as cheap as a local $500 L28et that I could find in Washington.

Do the RB20DET swap.

KA24DE is a really fast engine. My Frontier has one and it makes my 350Z look slow... I don't even know why I keep my three fiddy Zee anymore

Wouldn't it cost about the same to install a L28ET or RB20DET? There are places in Canada selling RB20DET with everything for very cheap.
About $1000

I have not been able to find any L28ET's in Canada. All I can find is regular L28 rebuilt for $500+, so they arnt turbo, they come with no turbo parts, and i wouldnt bother stroking a motor that has brand new parts in it.
when I droped it in Stock it cost me I believe in the 1800 area. after turbo, injectors, boost controler, and SAFC tune I was @ the 3700mark +/- I got all parts used exept for the injectors, thats why it was relatively cheap. all i got to say is this. I was keeping up with my Friends RB26, (HKS GT2530's @14 psi, on 680cc injectors) but then again my S13 is / was a good power/weight ratio compared to his R32
