question about head swap

question about head swap

I have a 77 280z, I'm looking to buy a new engine and found a 76. I was wondering if I could swap my 77 round exhaust port head straight over to the 76 engine without any problems? I have headers for the round port and don't want to go through the hassel of selling the headers and buying new ones which would ultimatly cost me more money which I need to finally get this car done.

what head is on each?

look on the pass side for a cast number, if your not familiar with what it looks like itl be a single letter and 2 numbers (ie: E88, P90, ect)

I have the n47 on my 77, i do not kno whats on the 76, i'll have to call to find out

76 should have square ports.
