Multiple Electrical Issues...?

I recently found myself in a quandry. After putting my Z in a shop for a new paint job the car wouldn't restart. I cannot seem to isolate the problem although I am having multiple electrical issues. Nearly all of my body lighting; head, tail, turn, backup, etc. are not working. Neither is my overhead light or my fan blower. I have relplaced the ignition switch and lock assembly (it was due anyhow), and the ignition relay (using the 280z service manual to troubleshoot these issues). All the fuses are in good condition and my fuse panel shows 12v on the fuse contacts with an ohm meter. Any suggestions? Seems like this should not be multiple wires grounding simultaneously, although I guess one wire central to the body lighting could be responsible. Thanks. 1977 280z.

Are your battery terminals corroded or loose? Oh, and welcome to ZDriver!

electrical problems suck dude! at least you can say that you have a nice new coat of paint to make that 77 look new. post some pics dude! anyways, when body shops get cars in to paint booths, they are notorious for painting over stuff that shouldn't be and disconnecting things that shouldn't be messed with. best bet is to bring your car back to the shop, find the guy who painted it and tell him to go over everything that he might have messed with. if it ran before you took it there then it SHOULD run when you leave. thats their problem...not yours. remind them of that in a nice way at first, then if that don't work then remind them alittle better. use your imagination. most likely it is a ground that isn't metal to metal. good luck

Finally found the problems. There was overspray at back of fuse box panel from painting door jambs and also had a bad power supply wire running from fusible link to fuse box. Had to cut it and run new 12 gauge wire to C-9 connector under passenger side of dash. Whew! Thanks. 1977 280z
p.s. will post pictures after bumpers are installed. Thanks for the welcome.
