Exhaust Manifold

Hi, i am currently trying to restore my late 74 260Z, and im trying to remove my exhaust manifold to replace the gasket, and I cant get one nut off of the bottom of the manifold to take it off. I can pull the manifold away far enough to put in a new gasket, but there are tubes running from the manifold into the exhaust ports that are getting in the way, can anyone tell me what these lines are and if I can remove them or not. Attached is a picture of the manifold (the oil dripping down is penetrating oil in case i can take them off) Thanks

i don't know that car too well, but since no one else seems to be on, i'll take a swing. that looks like EGR to me, but at any rate, if they have nuts on them, take them out. if they are welded or pressed, i wouldn't mess with them. they have to be able to come out somehow though. you don't have anything to loose by taking the nuts out unless you break them. i've always gotten bottom manifold bolts with swivel headed boxed in ratchet wrenches or by just barely getting an open end on there.
