Exhasut System

Exhasut System
I'm looking for a nice set of headers & a catback exhaust system for my '78 280Z. Right now I have stock headers and a Glass Pack muffer thats only blowing hot air with no tone unless in low RPM range. I've heard of just a couple names like Pacesetter and Monza but I'm looking for some other namebrand items? So if anyone know of some other names let me know.
THANKS

I have a Pacesetter/Monza exhaust on my '70 240Z. I got it because of it's dual vertical tips. There is usually a guy on eBay who is selling it for around $140 shipped.
It's not a bad exhaust for that price. However, I do not see it as a true performance exhaust. I just got it because of the style, price, and simply as a replacement for my 34 year old stock muffler.
I have the stock exhaust manifold, but the sound out of the tip sounds pretty nice. It's not as crisp as the MSA exhausts, but it does have a deeper and grumbling tone. You can also hear crackles and the occasional backfire, but mine is a smog exempt straight pipe. Don't know if it'll do the same with a cat.
I noticed that the black paint have burned off quite a bit on the pipe. Also, the yellow paint on the muffler tips are UGLY. I recommend stripping it off before installation. Carbon will eventually cover it black.
