Angry Cannot Remove Oil Pan Drain

I am Really Pissed! I just tried to change the oil on my "new to me" 260z. When I got to the pan drain plug I tried to remove it but it was completely stuck and won't budge. I gave it everything I had and it would not move. How do I get this off.

appropriate socket, breaker bar, and a pipe. jack the car up so yo can get all the leverage you need. get someone to hold the socket on the head so it doesn't pop off and strip the bolt head. or use an impact wrench. spray some pb blaster on it too

ya, I feel really incompetent, to say the least.

Any reason someone would permanently affix it to the pan?

Use 2 end wrenches..and connect them together. Then try to move it. If not...tap the wrenches with a hammer. And see if it will budge. I think the last person. Tightened it way too much. You only really need it snug. Anyway good luck..and let us know what happened.
