Mkay lets try something new.
I will send my dual weber setup to the first person that finds an 83 280zx turbo ecu and send it to me. I think thats a fair trade.
Edit: It must work.

How hard can it be to find a turbo ecu for an 83 280zx. Seriously? This is getting ridiculous. Also why do women always manage to take up 98% of the bed? I can`t even go to sleep right now for fear of waking the 104 Filipino women I call sweety. Serious, shes evil when she wakes up.

Whats sad, is he gets his bed to himself, and speaking as a married man, He probably gets laid more than I do anyways. I miss being single.
Edit: I think i found an ecu. Everyone cross their fingers.
i USED to get layed more than you. lol. then i got out of highschool. i was a player in those days. no i might as well be married lol. but i have a long story as to why im being more protective and abstaining a bit, yes it is by choice.
did you point out where the door was? lol. its just a car, any woman that thinks one car is going to influence a marriage is clinicly insane and should be taken to a psychiatrist, not a psychologist cause she will need drugs
Mkay. Heres the deal. I got the new ECU in after triple checking my wiring. Went to start it up and nothing. Not a single little bitty bit of spark. So I start trouble shooting more. and more. Heres the list of what I did.
1. Cleaned every connection on the wiring harness.
2. Rebent every connection on the wiring harness.
3. Unplugged and Re plugged CAS.
4. Got the Multi meter.
5. Starting with CAS, using a bridge wire to provide power, I made sure it was sending signal to spark, and fire injectors.
6. Got injector test led out and made sure there was signal to injectors.
7. Put volt meter on ignitor wire from ecu. With voltmeter set to 20v I get .07 volts on this wire. I know this is not right.
8. Checked wire from ecu to where its spliced with igniter. wire good.
9. Unplug wire to igniter and check voltage coming from ecu. .07
10. Kick tire and yelled and cursed.
11. jumped wire from igniter to battery, got spark.
12. Wired everything back up and tried again.
13. Got pissed off told the Z I was selling it.
14. Split open wiring harness and chased wire to make sure there wasn`t a burnt/shorted wire.
15. Re-Wired everything.
16. Tried again.
17. Put voltmeter on wire from ecu to igniter. get .07
18. Came in to ask you guys WTF!?!?!?!

No the car stopped running with the original ecu. But yes I did try to plug it back in. I forgot to mention that but I get the same results with both ecu`s.
But the car was running at some point w/ the L28ET swap & ecu right? And this is the ecu from Duowing?
It sounds like the ecu isn't the prob... more like a wiring / fuse link / ignitor / coil prob.

Right I figured, I just can`t figure out where. I have gone through everything. I am gonna go get a heavier wire tomorrow and replace everywhere I have put in.
This is just really pissing me off. I now know why Snw sold his first chance he got. Oh and FYI I did beat the EVO from a roll. Cause Rick cant drive or something. It was fluke. Or maybe my z wanted to tease me before it died again.
Mkay, If my FI relay went dead would that stop me from getting spark? It seems to me the Fi relay is feeding power to the ecu.
I ask because all my wiring is good. So it has to be some kind of relay or something and thats the only one!

hmmm... i think the FI relay is over all power to the ECU. did you check the wires where they meet the ecu? they get loose and will push out and stuff get bad connections, really popular. how about that start signal cause you are describing the EXACT problem i had with mine. after swapping ECU's and dizzies (i actually went back with the original dizzy so that wasnt the problem) and re-doing all but the starter wiring it started running fine but sometimes wouldnt get spark, re-did the start signal and never had a no spark situation since. only a bad running situation do to mixture and that was just bad connections. i know you said you went ove all the connections you made but maybe you used the wrong guage wire? u didnt use a solid core wire right? didnt use speaker wire right? go out to your car, turn on the car (just to the on dont start it dont even hit the start selection) and look at your ECU LED is it on? if so then watch it and then turn the key to start while watching it. what happens to the LED?
