Wheels & tires for 77 280Z

I'm still running the 195/70R14 on my '77 280z.
  1. For daily driving, would a R15 or R16 have better or worse performance/comfort/ease of steering?
  2. Would upgrading to larger tires have a cost or tire selection advantage over the R14?

Thanks.

The less sidewall, the higher performance... sidewall = flex = less "firm" ride. No change in "ease of steering" just by tire height. WIDTH might change the feel of manual steering.

Go to TIRERACK.COM and compare prices. 16's are usually more expensive than 14's, 15's, or 17's because they aren't as widely used.

All this aside, why not just go to 17's and be satisfied?
