Wheels & tires for 77 280Z

I'm still running the 195/70R14 on my '77 280z.
  1. For daily driving, would a R15 or R16 have better or worse performance/comfort/ease of steering?
  2. Would upgrading to larger tires have a cost or tire selection advantage over the R14?

Thanks.

The less sidewall, the higher performance... sidewall = flex = less "firm" ride. No change in "ease of steering" just by tire height. WIDTH might change the feel of manual steering.

Go to TIRERACK.COM and compare prices. :D 16's are usually more expensive than 14's, 15's, or 17's because they aren't as widely used.

All this aside, why not just go to 17's and be satisfied? :D
