Driveshaft Dust Guard
Driveshaft Dust Guard
Taking a bit of a circuitous route to fix the drivershaft U joints. The old drivershaft is on the right, and has a dust guard of sorts. The new driveshaft is at left, and does not have said dust guard.

Having a hard time finding this part, and while it looks like I can grind the fasteners off the old one, I'm not sure how I would put in on the new one.
I'm kind of hoping that I don't need it, but that may be wishful thinking.
Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers.

Sure:

It's the sort of collar looking thing. At the top of the area I boxed, there is a circular fastener, and another one like it on the opposite side. I'm sure I can grind these fasteners out, but then I'm unsure how it would attach this collar / dust guard to the new drivershaft... or if it's even necessary at all.
Cheers!
