i understand what your saying, and you are right i should be calling them coilovers.


on a side note. ive been looking a lot and researching as much as i can find on coilovers for the s30's. but i still havent been able to find if i need to buy new stuts or if i can just keep the stock ones. so do i need to buy new ones? and does the upper spring perch have to be modified also? thanks.

 

Buying new ones will give you the same physical item as what's on the car already... so... the answer is...

i believe you do not. also, for lowering a car you need new struts and preferably performance ones otherwise they will go caput on you fast. preferably adjustable ones. but i cant remember if they make AGX's for the S30 or what. havent researched in a while
