New car in future

May be buying a 76 280Z soon, for daily driver for now. Neither doors will lock, I've changed the locks on other cars. Any advice on how to go about this? The button just will not go down. Thanks.

Welcome to ZDriver!

Open up the inner door panel and take a look.

Thanks for the welcome; I had an accident with my daily driver 95 Camry (great car BTW) and decided that I might as well get a cool car! I bought an 87 Monte SS 6 years ago and drove her daily for 2 years. Now she graduated to a garage! I am a member on montecarloss.com.
I'm pretty confident with my skills now and with the help of montecarloss.com, I can do just about anything on that car. i hope the same will occur with this website!
I love fixing cars myself and hope to save this Z like I did the SS.
Thanks again, I am psyched even though most people think I should buy a more "reliable" car! Oh well I might just keep the Camry in case something comes up...

a good tune up on that Z will make it quite reliable. maybe not quite as good as the camry, but pretty good.

I'd trust fuel injection over carbs any day. If its stock and untouched, leave it that way. It will be most reliable in the original form.

with a stock engine, yes. FI will have more torque, about the same top end HP, and better fuel economy.

If you modify your engine, you need a better fuel injection system, not bigger carbs.
