I took my car to the detailer's hen I first got it because it was really dirty. I got a good price, however they didn't clean the roof liner. The roof of the interior looks a little yellow and old, but it also looks.. dirty.. Ill try and get a picture. Is there any product I can use to try and clean it? or will I have to take it in and have it recovered.

It wasn't included in the detail package I got, and I didnt want to pay more money, so I figured I would do this myself. Suggestions welcome.

its a tan/beige vinyl type material. its not cloth

 

no s30 had cloth anything other than the carpet. all was vynil. which rocks cause it doesnt hold smell easily

 

It also doesn't sag from the roof like my shitty Chevrolet lol

 

Hmmmmm bleach may clean it up good, I dont know.

 

Bleach the ZDriver member? Certainly not the chemical... unless you like a discolored headliner. I don't know if bleach will stain it, but I wouldn't try. Use a vinyl cleaner....

 

Oh, oops I dont know why but I was thinking he said he had a White headliner, lol. DONT use bleach, the chemical. There are tons of vinyl cleaning products out there, try some out!

 

you can clean it with that stuff as well as degreaser and soap and use a textured style sponge (not like a scotch bright thing but you know something that wil scrub) and then you can re-spray it black with vynil paint. did it to my doors in the 260 and it looked damn good.

 

well I know for sure I'm not cleaning your headliner...
