I have 1975 280z and i was wondering if i could replace it with a 240 bumper, i dont like the huge bumper that i curently have, is it possible to swap those peices out?

 

It's possible, but the first time you get tagged by another driver you'll regret it.

I have a 76 with the same bumper, I did the swap out and got tagged the first week.

I had to shell out for new headlight scoops, hood, hood hinges, radiator, lower valance and a grill and then have a professional straighten out the rest to fit them.

I put the stock bumper back on and added a bumper overrider, got tagged again and the other guy lost out.

Sure did like the look of the 240 bumper....o'well
