All of a sudden won't run or start!

Alright so I was in a pretty good mood to start off lol, things are going along nicely for the ol 82, been starting right up when I'd go out to start it. (except if it was already warm which I just swapped in a dummy coolant temp sensor that sits in the car so the car thinks it's cold..not sure about that yet.)

Anyways, I buy a can of premium gas and put in it so I can seafoam it, I also read online that the starting issue may be a fault in the ignition coil and to try pooring some cold water on it, while I tried that didn't really see much of a difference. So I went ahead and seafoamed it, smoked a bunch, took it up the road and it ran that best it's ever ran to this day. (broke the tires from 25mph and 2nd gear burnout ) So after taking off I only take her about less than half a mile up the road, turn into this subdivision to turn around, and I look down and damn! It's not even running, so I quickly roll start it, burn up the clutch to just keep it running. Make it home and it hasn't started since.

When you crank it it'll fire for a second then completely just go back to cranking. Checked the spark on all cylinders, they're good.. Already has a new TPS sensor.. What I'm thinking is would the seafoam have messed up the MAF? I noticed vac lines that run to it but I wouldn't think it would go that direction.

Really a huge let down, was so proud of it haha!

EDIT: Just tested the voltage from injector #1 while cranking, 0.10V..

Tested the power to ECU (pins 10 and 36) only getting about 0.3V..

Wiggled all kinds of wires from the ECU back and still couldn't get an voltage.. sad times

Although I am getting a green LED light on the ecu

pouring water on electrical devices (read coil) is not generally considered a good thing to do. also put the car in your signature so we know what you are talking about. even tho posted before hard to recall.

Would the ignition coil have anything to do with the injectors only reading 0.10V while cranking?

Where are you putting the meter probes when you are measuring 0.1VDC? Also, are you using an autoranging meter?

I have it set to a/c and i unhooked the harness from the injector itself

Well, since it's a DC electrical system, you are not going to measure voltage accurately with the meter on AC.

Measuring across the injector plug, you should see about 2 VDC drop, fluctuating to 0 VDC, while the ECU is pulsing the injectors by completing the circuit to ground.

So after nearly testing nearly every wire from the ecu, and relays. I actually just tested the ignition coil that's in the Z and a spare one I had aquired, both have 0ohms between their primarys, got a new one ordered for tomorrow, will update!

And the injector test I did did not work, when I put the ground on the battery, both terminals have about 12volts

If it makes a difference, before this happened there was a red square light that used to light up on my boost gauge when I would turn my key to ON. Now it does not light up at all?

Fuel pressure? Might be high enough to look like it's flowing, but not enough to actually squirt through the injectors. Try spraying something flammable down the intake while cranking, if it tries to start, then your not getting enough fuel! Only a couple things needed to start a car, just fuel, spark, and compression! (timing helps too)

Alright got some sad news, when it did finally start running by unhooking the afm, she smokes like a coal train chuggin down the tracks, white smoke puffin out of one of the cylinders which is drowned in oil.. Seafoam fried some rings huh?

Mine did that too it was stuck injectors loading the cylinders with gas ... Is the oil level high due to gas entering the crank case I changed injectors waa las problem solved on to the next for me the icm wich I gm converted waalaa again finally runs like a champ ... But I got this 280 zx I'm having a similar prob with I got fire got gas did hei convert runs for second then dies then just cranks wait a few minutes then start then die again I'm thinking my ecu is not pulsing the injection but I'll get this turd figured out and maybe it will shed some light on your problem

Just a shot in the dark, but have you checked your ICM?
