Im there for sure. And Im sure this forum will have a quite a large turnout this coming year as well. I say we organize and get a a Zdriver section or a booth or both. The caravan we had last year was fun too. I ruled lww, bleach, and darrellbuddy in bowling on the way down in Santa Barbara. Dont let them tell you othewise . . . .

Sadly, I won't be able to make it next year. There's a Star Trek convention that same weekend in Carbondale Illinois and I'm going as a Klingon. I have been studying my Klingon dictionary though so I'm hoping to be able to secretly communicate with all of the other Klingons behind the backs of the follish Starfleet Federation members present.

I might possibly be there, but too early to tell. So don't base it as concrete yet. I know that we have to preregister, because of the relocation of their show. If I happen to fix my oil leak. I would have no problem driving out there. I don't really want to drive my Z too far, with that bad leak. I am putting a quart of oil in, every 2 to 3 weeks. And I am at a loss, at where it is leaking. Got to get the '83 running, so I can have my concrete space back. I am not jacking my Z in the dirt. Anyway no sense in rambling on about it. I will keep you all informed about the outcome.

I doubt I'm gonna make it again

Financially, I'm not where I wanted to be at this point. I gotta quit moving around. I'm supposed to be getting a promotion at work so if that pans out I just might have the $$$ to fly out come April. Hopefully for '08 I'll be rolling up in the Z.

if you cant visibly see a leak then it may be internal. Bad valve seals are more than capable of sucking down a quart every 2-3weeks. Worn oil control rings can do the same.

I can see oil that is leaking. The problem is I can't pinpoint where it is coming from. Whether it be the oilpan, front seal, or whatever else. As soon as I get my '83 running, and off the stands. I am moving my '82 under the carport, on the concrete. And digging around, and hopefully find the leak. It is quite frustrating. But I know for sure, it is not sucking oil, at least not that badly, for having 140k + on the engine.

Ha ha, you are a riot man. I don't think it will be neccessary, and I will try not to dissapoint. I really do want to meet some of you on this website. It all depends, if I can get my Z real dependable. Granted He has been a good car, and started everytime I turn the key. Which is great, anyway I will keep you all informed if I go or not.

I'm stupid.

I got an email this morning from "ZNationals" inviting me to attend. I looked at the dates and schedule and I freaked out! I was like "Oh my GOD!!!!, They moved it into March instead of April!!!!! That's one less month to get my car ready!!!!!"

I was pissed.

Then I noticed it was for a Z car Nationals in...

ALABAMA!

WTF?????

So,

I'm stupid.

Got all excited for nothing.

1) Registration information is now available at Group Z website (http://www.groupz.com) Group Z is co-hosting this years event.

2) Location has been changed to Oak Canyon Park (next to Irvine Lake Park)

3) If you want directions (from MSA) go to my new calendar:
