My '81 280zx is no longer running and I was looking around for a replacement engine. I am looking for original or rebuilt preferably in CA but am willing to drive to surrounding states. I can do a trade if anyone is interested in rebuilding my old motor.

Year: 1981 (or anything compatible)
Model: 280zx non-turbo
Trans: Auto
Mileage: hopefully under 100k

Where in California are you located? I have an 81 complete that i installed in a 1978 convertable Z project. Has only 92k. I was considering to do a V-8 swap so if i sell the 280ZX motor i can proceed with my project. Otherwise i have an F-54 block that has been machined for a rebuild. Maybe i can build it up if you want to go that route. Let me know if i can be of any help.
