WTB: 1983 280ZX in or around WA

I want a 1983 Datsun 280zx. Must be a 1983, it's the year I was born and the only year I want. Does not have to run, does not even have to look good. Mainly looking for one that can at least be put on a trailer. I do not need the engine, transmission, exhaust so feel free to part the rest out. I want basically a shell and 4 wheels it can be pushed or towed on. I will spend only a couple hundred bucks so if you've got a fixer-upper let me know!

I've wanted one for a while, always been a fan of her for some reason. I have tried craigslist and continually check it, I thought I'd put out a wanted ad for such a specific desire.

Found!

I found a 1979 280ZX minus an engine and a transmission. Time to tear it down to rebuild!

Congrats! Too bad..you are too far away. I have an '83 I am going to put up on Craigslist here real soon. Anyway glad you found a ZX. Even though it is not the year you wanted in the beginning. Good luck with your new project.

Your a little late. About 3 yrs ago there was a 79 with a supposedly bad headgasket for sale in Seattle on ebay. I bought it, for 205$ and poured goop in the radiator when it overheated 10 blocks down the road. I filled it with gas, and topped off the radiator.
2.5 hours later I was home, 160 miles south. The new head gasket that came with it is still in the back, and I'm still driving it, valve cover hasn't been off.

That stuff is like a heart attack for your car. It works, but clogs the coolant passages. I did that on my orig n/a motor. Worked great but when I tore it apart & saw all the crap it left deposited, I'd never use it again unless it's an emergency.

Well, the car is still a DD, 3.5 yrs later. New V8 engine and tranny in garage, still collecting a few parts, but could put it in the way it is.
Can you tell I'm not really worried?? If it quit that would give me an excuse..
It did blow a heater control valve, and I managed to find a relatively new one, AND UNCRACKED DASH at wrecking yard and put in.
So, being as you have a new head, and my bottom end is fine,(I figure the head is OK too, gasket could stand to be replaced and head flattened, runs fine 99.5% of time, every once in a while ya notice a little weirdness though) you want mine when it comes out 123k on it.
The stuff I use isn't like most, while you can tell it's been there, it doesn't create a problem until there's AIR present, which isn't the case in most of the system.
