Have you thought about having it rebuilt? Might be a better solution than chancing another used one.

Considered that.. wasn't sure what the cost for that would be. Know any place in Austin Texas which could do it? I saw a few posts about some place in AZ.

From a quick google search, sounds like Majestic Turbo ( http://www.majesticturbo.com/ ) in Waco is the hot place to go. Looks like there are a few shops in Houston as well.

A normal rebuild will run about $300-$400. If it needs extensive work, probably $500-$600... mind you this will be virtually a brand new turbo that will even come w/ a warranty. Or you can spend $100-$200 for a used one and hope it will last a while (which may be a good option for you as well depending on your circumstances).

I have a stock T3 Turbo in realy good condition,spin freely and there is a very little play,a lot of miles left in this one.

Sold the manifold and you will get the turbo and the wast gate,no down pipe.

I decided to go with a used one.. we are back on the road again. Saving to have the one I removed rebuilt and will install it when I decide to tear it down again.
