I'm looking to get a CF hood for my car for relatively cheap, I dont care what style or if it is just one sided. If you've got one to spare i'd like to take it off your hands. Thanks

 

the stock hood is lighter then ANY CF hood you can buy. It also looks GOOD unlike any CF hood you can buy.

 

I don't think so. The OEM isn;t what I would call heavy, but many CF hoods are significantly lighter.

A carbon fiber hood may save you like what? 1-3lbs at the most? Complete waste of money. Plus when you damage CF it dosnt dent or bend, it tears, and is not fixable.

 

Thanks 91zxtt, as for the performance aspect to the hood, i dont care what it does or doesnt do, its another part of what I want my car to look like, plus CF has better heat disipation properties than weight reduction. So a CF hood is lighter and stays cooler, thats actually 2 things that are better than the stock hood. (not to mention mines f'd up anyway and needs some sort of replacement)
