i phoned my local yards, nothing up here tho. i have never even seen a dead one.

 

ppl like to strip them for parts. i just don't want some one to offer me a LD28 without a crank or intake

 

Why do you want a diesel engine in your Z? Just curios btw

 

turbo ld28? and because they get REALLY good gas mileage and hardly ever if ever break. they are considered reliable to diesel standards.

Hoov100 is right, proven to get 44mpg out of these things. plus the tourqe is awsome. plenty of power at great gas milage. but it won't be a stock engine either. so i dought i'll see numbers as high as 44. maby closer to 30

I kinda doubt your going to find one... What cars did the LD come in anyways?

 

They came in the Diesel Maximas. Fubar, are you looking for a full LD28 just for the crank & intake? Because it would be easier to source those parts individually... but something tells me you knew that, and still have something up your sleeve.

lol. Just a lil somthin Nismo. yeh. i need the entire engine. i need it to run. but if it's wore out( LD28 wore out? lol never) and just needs a rebuild. i'll be happy with that. and it needs to have the injector pump.
