I am looking for a front center valance panel for my '82 280ZX.

I have found them on Ebay for $28 including shipping, but I am concerned about the quality of the aftermarket replacement part.

These are hard to find not damaged. If I can find it, I would rather buy used OEM.

I used those ebay center pieces several time and always worked nice....you have to weld it with the side pieces to get the best results.
I have a complete used original one(the sides and the middle) all intact but you need to straight the middle piece little bit.
