'81-'83 280zx Turbo wiring harness

As it states in the title. I am currently looking for a '81-'81 280zx turbo wiring harness. Mainly the engine bay, and dash area. But if I can get the whole wiring for the car. That is cool also. Also I would need the fuse box, and any other things that are associated with the wiring.

Why am I getting this first? I am planning on stripping down my '82 T-top 280zx. To prepare for a full on restoration, this coming winter. I will be stripping out the interior first. And get it all new inside. So the wiring would be the last thing to come out of the car. So it will be all clear, and be ready for a complete sanding job. Will tell more in my other thread.

Anyway if anybody has one, or knows where I can get one. Contact me via PM, or use my email atranfanatic@yahoo.com. And we can talk shop, to make a deal, or whatnot. Thanks.

Still looking. Also any turbo parts you all my have. I am open to. Now that I am piecing together Turbo parts slowly. I decided to build my n/a into a turbo. It will be a good learning experience for me.

Nah not yet. I am just putting my feelers out there. I posted what I won in my '82 project list. The links anyway. So basically I am slowly piecing together parts for a N/A block converting to a Turbo one. And it is a true 1982 280zx n/a block. I have already won a 1982 280zx turbo cylinder head with a sandblasted, ready to paint valve cover, intake manifold, and tri pod gauges. So I am building up my parts. To start the conversion hopefully this year. Keep your eyes peeled, appreciate it.

Oh and I will use my 5 speed transmission, with rear end. I was told they handle alot. So I have no worries. I just replaced my driveshaft this week. Nice and quiet there.

they dont handle alot, not at all. but they will handle a stock turbo motor for sure. and the rear's are actually fairly strong i guess. and you know mine is an NA to turbo conversion 82 engine right? so if you need any pointers dont hesitate to ask. wiring though i wont have a clue on cause i put mine in a 260 not a s130. lol. and i honestly woulda went with a N42 head not them crappy turbo heads with their hydraulic lifters that everyone hates so much lol.

Yeah they will handle stock, and then some. I know somebody told me the tranny will take up to 500hp. Which I am not going that high. I am shooting for 200-300hp. And I will be happy. And yes I know you did the n/a to turbo conversion. That is where I got the idea from. Anyway I am getting a 280zx turbo wiring, and put it in mine. While incorporating the Z31 ECU setup and such. And I wanted a turbo head. But I thought these heads didn't have lifters. Because of the OHC's. Anyway Thanks I will hit you up, if I need tips, and or help.

tha NA 5speed tranny ? he said that? bah, i could see 250 wheel horse maybe. nothing further, at least not consecutivly. and definatly not much at all if its launched or shifted hard. the SX tranny swap is said to only be 300-350 hp and better than the turbo's t5 i do believe. so idk.......

My n/a tranny bit the dust 800 miles into my turbo motor... and I was only pushing 230whp. I've now got a T5 and pushing 250+whp.... no probs at all.

The only turbo head that had the hydraulic lifters was the P90a head which came on the 83 Turbo engines, everything before the P90s had your regular style lifters that can be adjusted and what not.

Not yet anyway. Thanks for the link bro'. As soon as I get another job. I will probably purchase one of those harnesses. Again I really appreciate the useful info. You posted. You rock man!
