Im looking for a 5 speed trans and a 280z head for my 260z. I also was wondering if i have to change my rear.

No, you do not have to change the rearend. I have a '71 240Z with an unknow 5speed (was in the car when I bought it) and I'm sure that the original diff is in the car.
