Ok I really need this tech session to happen now. It has been slow at work and that costs me money in more ways than one...

1. Mike - Unorthodox Racing crank pulley, Tien Flex Coilovers w/EDFC, RH J5 Wheels, ZEX Wet Nitrous Kit, ZEX Nitrous Purge Kit, Black Rear emblems
2. Cris - Fog lights, Z4 style side markers (2 hours)
3. Rob - Sway bar lube (45 minutes)
4. Johnny - Pop Charger & Intake tube (1 hour)
5. Ty- 350Evo Rear Sway, Stillen rear strut tower brace, new suspension (TBA), AEM UEGO A/F gauge. (all frickin day)

Ty, why did you get only a rear sway bar? That is going to give you a lot of oversteer, which can be fun, but I think if you were to get only one, you should have gotten a front one only.

Yeah, that's kind of my plan, albeit experimental. I figure that with the staggered tires I plan on running 245 fronts and 275 rears I can come out neutral with the adjustable swaybar. Then again I may just look like a spinning *** the next time I run.

The coupe already has natural understeer. +1
Staggered tires should add to the understeer. +1
Adjustable rear sway should add oversteer. -1, -2, -3

Of course I'm just guessing. If I need the front then I'll add it. I'll probably just get one anyways since they aren't real expensive.

Why don't you just get two since they are 3-way adjustable? Put the rear on the medium setting and put the front on soft. Or rear on medium, front on stiff.

Well, I hear that the 350 Evo front bar even on the softest setting is quite a bit stiffer than the stock bar. I'm just worried that it might be too stiff.

But I think that your right I'm going to get the front to just to have on hand even if I don't need to use it. I'll most likely want it on once I get the new suspension put in.

I have the 350EVO sways on my Z and I have them both set to medium. From my research when I was looking to buy these, the softest setting is slightly softer than stock.

Not until I get a chance to clean out my garage... which means not for a few weeks at least. It's not pretty.

I got the full kit for $400 shipped with a full purge kit. I figure if I don't use it then I can sell it myself for $400 again.

The NX kit that I was looking at was around $1k, but it had all of the accessories. Bottle warmer, remote opener, pressure gauge etc.

I'm starting to think that I want too much out of my G. I want it to be fast at the strip, handle awesome at autoX, and still be comfortable enough to drive every day and take out for a night on the town.

You can make the G what you want to be, but you've got to spend alot of $$$ to get it to excel at everything.

I'm thinking about having a tech session this Saturday if anyone is interested. I'm installing new fog lights, Z-Tube, plenum spacer, and grounding kit. Sunday is going to be a Zaino application day. I have a clean two car garage and tools. Let me know if anybody else wants to stop by. Either way, I'm getting my hands dirty Saturday.

Saturday is good for me, I'll be there. The only part that I have in so far is my Stillen rear strut tower brace, but it's something to do.
