Tech Session!!!!

For those who didn't attend the meeting and might not know what a tech session is, its when a bunch of us get together at someones house and work on our cars. This is good because if you don't know how to do something, someone there probably does and will teach you. And you finally get those parts on your car that have been sitting in your garage for 3 months installed for FREE!!! So put your name on this list and what you would like to have done, then we can see if we need to do one or two days.

1. Mike - Bleed brakes, Install Defi Heads Up Display (if there are any electrical wizards out there), oil change, gear oil change

The first weekend in April is good for me, what about you guys? I am going to get the G35 guys in on it too. Who has the biggest garage? I have a cramped 2 car and a sloped driveway so at best we could have one car on jacks in the garage and two in the driveway on the ground for a total of 3 cars getting worked on.

I may be switching what I need to have done depending on what I get for my b-day on March 30th.

I got the FREE SPRINGS at the meeting last night. Thanks again. I could use some help getting them put on. Sorry but I don't have suitable garage space here to offer. I won't really have the time until May to make a day of it. I've got some other projects I need to take care of first.

No worries. I know how to do the springs. We can do another tech session in May as well. When the date gets closer, set it up.

Hey, my b-day is on the 23rd! Maybe I'll get a set of fog lights and install it behind the grill, like the DIY on 350zmotoring.com., at the tech session.

It's worth the extra $100 to have a professional to install a clear bra. The variable that determines how long the bra lasts and looks good is the installation. If you are going to spend $400 for a kit, pay $500 to have one installed properly. Go to www.xpel.com They have a list of certified installers. There are several around the valley.

I'm in - may need to change some fluids or put collars on my sways. Not to mention some grease, they are already noisy as hell.

I'm In also. I should have my JWT pop-charger and Air intake pipe kit by then. Will also have a rear spoiler to install ( it sticks on with double sided tape). Should be pretty simple stuff.

Ok so its still on, even if it's just me & ensmuns. I will have it at my house (Summerlin) or if anybody has a better idea come foreward. I have a two car garage and a slanted driveway, which means, max. 1 car on jacks and 2 + whatever spots are open on the street if your car doesn't need to be in the air. ensmuns, I will PM you with my cell phone number.

I just remembered that I still have my racing brake pads in from when I was supposed to go to the track, so I have added that to my list.

1. Mike - Oil change, gear oil change, short shifter adjustment, Stillen Engine Dampener, Possible Unorthodox Racing crank pulley, brake pads (3-4 hours)
2. Cris - Fog lights, Z4 style side markers (2 hours)
3. Rob - Sway bar lube (45 minutes)
4.
5.

Total time out of the day 6-7 hours one car at a time. I am pretty sure that Cris's car doesn't need to be up in the air so his can be worked on at the same time that mine or Rob's can be worked on which would cut down on time. So even if you don't have stuff to do to your car, show up and help with ours.

I have ramps, I'm not sure they'll fit if you're lowered though.
