Stripping Party!!!
^^^^hmmmm....yes.....But I still have to check with the significant other. I need orders dammit!!! That way I know when I'm leaving. She has me on this "no spending" regiment because she thinks we are leaving sometime in May and she wants things paid off; I don't even have orders yet!!! Odds are, if I did get orders, we wouldn't leave till next October. LVMS is just not paying enough for me to be able to mod my car. I would seriously have to save for about 6 months just to be able to purchase an exhaust system. The season is almost over too, so that will be a month and a half break of no money....I'm trying to decide on whether I should stay, get a third job or quit?!
Ah, that's right. The "no spending money" routine.
Truthfully, if I didn't have orders, I'd get a private security job. $12/hour, depending on location. Work hours also vary. From what I was told, all you do is stand around or walk around the place you work (restaurants, mall shops, etc.), get fitted for a free suit (because some place require semi-formal), and all other necessary uniform is provided for you. If you want to look into it, I can get you some info.

I'm thinking the Albertson's route. I have a friend who delivers for them. You make your own hours (as long as it's during the week and in the morning around 7:30), you get paid $11.50/hour for the first 90 days and $12 afterwards, plus you just drive there and then you pick up a delivery truck so you don't have to drive your own vehicle. I'm thinking of alternating them; working one week at the speedway and then working Thursday and Friday at Albertsons.
Hey how long are you guys going to be over at Mike's house? I was hoping to get out of here early but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. I will have to do my brake pads and lines later this week since apparently I'm NEEDED at work
. Just one question though: Do I have to get my rotors machined/smoothed when I change out my brake pads or can I look at the old brake pads and make a judgement call by seeing if the pads are wore unevenly? I'm trying to keep from doing all this extra **** cuz I'm already strapped for cash at the moment.

As far as I know you shouldn't have to resurface your rotors if you don't stop hard and often as well as auto-x, drift, etc. If need be (which I highly doubt), auto skills has a rotor surfacing machine. I'm at work too, but not working too hard.
Well I just went and spent money on a brake bleeding/vacuum kit. All I need now is to be able to get over to the Hobby shop this week or spend about $100 bucks on a jack and jackstands. I'm hoping to just do it at the hobby shop cuz I'm sure I'm going to get chewed out tonight for spending money on the brake bleeding kit.
Ty was the only one that showed up today. Thanks guys. The car is about 90% done.
Mike - You don't need to re-surface your rotors. Just search on My350Z or StopTech's website for Brake Bedding Techniques.

Sorry I did not show, but my short block is supposed to show up tomorrow and I had about 1000 things I needed to do to get the car ready for that. I'm so tired of working on this damn thing...I just want it running again. It's been over a week now and I'm tired of driving rentals.

Its no big deal. I don't think that any more people would have helped as much. The only time Ty, myself, and Nathan were all working on it was getting out the sound deadener. One or two people to continue on the headers would have been nice though. Oh well, it will all get done eventually.
