Man a huge NHRA fan like you and you haven't driven down the 1/4 mile yet!? You will definately enjoy it from the prospective of a driver's seat.

Looks like I am not going to make it Wednesday night. My springs for the Z came today, but just my luck, I have to sign for the package in person. Tomorrow, I am busy until around 8:00pm and that means that I won't be here to sign for the package, and I won't be able to go pick it up at UPS. I am going to have to wait until Wednesday to pick them up and then get home and install them so I can be ready for The ***** Challenge this weekend.

Looks like you'll have to take love2ride off the list, his tranny locked up on his way to Dynocomp yesterday, out of commission for a week or so.

(I hate that signature required crap)

I'll probably make it to Poppa's now... taking the Z to work and going straight from there to the races.

Looks like I may not make it tonight - I'd say 20% chance that I'll be there.

So either it's going to be nice and cool tonight making for some pretty fast times... or we're going to get rained out.

At the rate people were dropping off, I was starting to think I was gonna be all alone. I hope at least one JWT TT car shows up. I'm trying to decide between the Greddy and JWT kits.

Went for a lil while. Saw SmittyZ33 run against the silver roadster. Only stayed for maybe an hour and a half. Left when I saw all the lightning on the south end of town. I really don't like drivin the Z in the rain.

That was KennyZ. Conditions were poor and everyone's times were slow. I was only running in the low-mid 15s as was Kenny. I left when I saw the lightning, but I did see a 12.8 from Rob and Ty's first run. It was good fun, but not a great night for racing. There was a car there that ran a 7.36. We were all impressed until we seen that it was a top-fuel dragster.

Still slow. Only ran a 13.77 with a ton of wheel spin off of the line. Might have to start practicing doing burnouts.

Not the best night, but it was cool and not crowded at all. There was a 10-15 mph head wind and high humidity, and I didn't see and VHT applied while I was there. I ended up actually setting a new personal best, at 10:40 pm. I was working on my launches all night, trying to get under 2 sec in 60'. Here's the timeslip:
60' 2.090
330 5.484
1/8 8.222
MPH 90.21
1000 10.550
1/4 12.515
MPH 114.72

My clutch started burning up at the end, so I went home. Hit some heavy rain on the 95 near Henderson, not a lot of fun to drive in with drag radials.
