ROb let me in on a little piece of information that I did not realise. YOU GUYS ARE A/T!!! It would be pretty close to impossible for a nooB like me to our RT you guys with my 6mt! I am out of the bet unless you change your tranny:)

Yeah, I don't think that AT is any advantage personally. You can cut a .00X light in either.

Besides, next street wars I will most likely be running the Z.

So is it just going to be me or what? There is also the LVMS Show & Go Fridays two nights later if you guys would rather do that. I will go to street wars if others are going, but if not, then I will just go to the friday night one since its the first event in the BALLS Challenge.

If I can get my tune done Monday or Tuesday at Dynocomp, I will be there. I am waiting for his reply on when he can get me in.

I am either detonating or have fouled plugs so I don't want to risk it. I have already ordered plugs.

Oooh, that dosn't sound good. Are you going to drive all the way to Arizona even though you may be detonating? Although expensive, you may want to run race gas for added safety if you are going to drive down there.

here is what happens, and after talking with Rob, I am pretty sure its the plugs since it only happens at WOT and I am PIG RICH.

since I installed my TP,**sometimes**, I get into the higher RPM's at WOT and the car will kind of give me a "hey, let off the F-ing the gas" noise. (yes, she talks to me like that, kinda dirty, just don't tell the wife;) )Extremely hard to explain online, but its not knocking or anything like that. It's almost like an extreme backfire at high rpms, but without the popping. She will recover even at WOT, and keep going all the way to redline, just not "smoothly". Again, this is just sometimes.

I got a response and I will be going there Mon. or Tues. morning FOR SURE, so count me in!

If you leave around 4:30am you'll be there by 9, no problem. Took me 4 hours flat. Don't take the way mapquest tells you, either.

Thats sounds like the plugs for sure. I can picture the sound you are talking about too. Good news is thats an easy fix. See you Wednesday!

Its supposed to be 104 during the day with an overnight low of 80 degrees. Sunset is around 8:00pm so I am guessing that the temperature when we racde will be somewhere in the mid 90's. So with that temperature and a well prepped track, what do you guys predict that my car will run at 14psi (554whp / 690wtq)? I am expecting to get no traction out of the hole with my negative camber and suspension, but I could be suprised. I have the Quiafe LSD, 315/30/18 rear tires, and I will have softer springs than before. I think with the right driver the car could be knocking on the door to 11s, but with me driving I figure I will be right around where Rob209 is. I think that his drag radials will make up for the difference in power. Honeslty I am hoping for a high 12 second pass and anything lower will be a suprise to me. What do you guys think?

You running race gas or 91? I'd say you get low 12s, maybe high 11s if they prep the track well. We should be a good match considering your camber and all....
I won't make the Poppa's pre-meet.

I will be running 100 octane. Given the heat, I wouldn't be supprised if everybody was running a couple tenths slower than usual. I guess I will have to see when I get out there, but I think that traction will definately be my main problem. Rob, I probably have a weight advantage over you as well. Do you know how much your car weighs? I am guessing that mine is now around 3,190 with the passenger seat out.

I guess 12.6xx @ 120 mph since I will be spinning 1st - 3rd gear.
