Now that I drive a 4runner most of the time - I notice that just about every 3rd car is a 4runner. If I tried to wave at them all, I'd have an accident. The Z drivers just think I'm jealous.

 

I only try to wave at the modded Z's I've found most stock Z driver's dont like seeing a Z nicer than theirs??

 

Saw Smitty's Z across from Runner's World, parked near the road in front of Red Flag. I stopped and checked out your Z! People were looking at me weird cuz I parked my stock Z next to your decked out one.

 

Yeah, I saw you. A black Z came by twice and did the same thing. We were running aroung the track watching it all go down!

 

Sweet! I was going to run at the track that day, but I saw you all running, so I went to the gym (I actually saw a few people looking my way when I was checking out your car, so I kinda got creeped out). I saw the black Z too; had some nice looking wheels, eventually parking in the Red Flag lot.

 

^^^BWAHAHAHAHA that was probably me! I was walking out of the back compound (the one closest to the main road and saw you driving through runner's world. I waved but apparently you're too good to wave back?! j/k

 

Was that you behind the fence?! I didn't see just you, I saw a grip of people doing some stuff. Hey at least you saw me!

 

I saw Smitty driving into Runner's World, probably looking at my Z, then driving out. I started waving as I was huffin' and puffin' at the track, but I don't know if he saw me. And yes, I checked out your car again, Smitty!

 

Daytona blue enthusiast? with Nismo spoiler and no other apparent mods.

Also an unmodded SS. I ran into him near the base and gave him a wave at a stoplight but he didn't see me, so I honked to get his attention and gave a 2-finger salute and the guy gave a glancing glare and looked the other way. He had a vanity plate but I don't remember what it said.

I am going to take vegas_speedster's advice and only wave at the modded Z's as a true Z enthusiast will undoubtedly wave back.

 

I ran into a Silverstone with the Nismo wing v.1 the other night at Charleston & Rampart. We rolled down our windows and he asked about my Nismo body kit and exhaust. He briefly mentioned about looking to get the Nismo cat back exhaust. I doubt that was anyone here but I thought I would mention it. ^^^ Did you buy your Z from the dealer with the Nismo stuff? Or add it yourself? Sounds like you saw Nforce1 - same color and wing.

 

But I waved at you after you checked out my Z at Runner's World today. I don't think you waved back or you thought I was some nut case waving to someone imaginary.

 

I bought my Z just stock. Afterwards is when I started adding all Nismo mods. Just did the intake and exhaust first and recently added the rest of the Nismo mods listed. I am still looking at possibly adding HF Cats (not sure the brand, possibly Crawford) and the Nismo cams (once I hit 7,500 miles).

Red Z on base yesterday, exterior stock but has intercooler. We exchanged passing pleasentries. Anyone know who this is?

 

Yellow anniversary edition with some black aftermarket wheels, license plate "WHUT". Looked stock other than that, but a very nice car.
