New 350Z Spotted in Canada

Alright, Yesterday i was stuck in rush hour traffic for like 2.5hours after work. So i was in my 260z driving home, nice a slow, bumper to bumper styles. about 20km from my house traffic splits off and lets up. so i rip through my gears trying to get home asfast as i could, I get up to about 110-120mph (almost 200km/h) on a 2 lane highway (yeah im stupid but i was dying to hit the washroom). anyway. so there 2 cars way up the road, so i let off the gas and let the car coast upto the cars. Low and behold one of the cars in my way is a brandnew black 350z, i pull in behind, flash my highbeams at him (signaling him to move over, or speed up), he slows down, i have to pull out, and move up beside him. I give his car a look up and down (they are nice looking cars) he looks over, and gives me a dirty look, at which point i expected him to gas it and take off on me. but instead, he slows down as i rip past him..
These new Z owners are not taking advantage of their badass cars. Especially since this is the first time I've ever seen a 350z inside Canadas borders.
Anyway. If you got a Z, drive it like a Z..

Re: New 350Z Spotted in Canada

I would think the car is still in its break in period , and a smart driver
would do as the manual says . Even though I would be so tempted
to go full out all the time.

Not everyone likes to drive reclessly everywhere they go. Going over 100mph in the US can land you in jail. Maybe he doesn't appriciate people with old cars running up close behind him and flashing their lights!

Re: New 350Z Spotted in Canada

BleachZee, LOL, True, but he should have known not to pace himself with another car, blocking access on a 2 lane road (impeeding traffic).
And also true, chances are it was still in "break in" mode, but i would also find it VERY hard not to push it abit just for fun.
But Oddly enough, I've only seen 1 350z in Toronto/GTA in Ontario. hrmm.

Blocking traffic!?! People in the US do that all the time going UNDER the speed limit! You've got it easy. hehe...

Re: New 350Z Spotted in Canada

As with any new sports car. To them it may just be a late model sports car. Many Z32 drivers are of that mind. And many people in a 280ZX just see it as a $1000 car to get them to work. So no matter what Z the person is driving they may or may not care about the Z heritage.... :-( its sad, really...

Re: New 350Z Spotted in Canada

In my neighborhood, my 94 Nissan Altima is the most expensive car on the block! :-D

Again, if I even had half the money it would take to buy the 350Z I would rather build myself a sweet 240Z with a powerful engine that would be faster than a 14 second car.

Re: New 350Z Spotted in Canada

alright, theres gotta be something going on. maybe all the 350z's just arrived, Cuz i just saw 2 different ones (one battle ship gray, and one metallic copper) on the highway into work today. I still dont know if i like the back end (the lights, hatch and bumper) though. but the front clip is badass.
